The Aloha way
Aloha means more than hello. It's a way of living, and it's how we treat each other in every class.

A little second home.
Every child is already full of life. We give them the right place to grow: a little second home where they feel looked after, have fun, and learn the values that make a language worth speaking.
Kindness with tenderness
It's okay to say it wrong. Teachers encourage gently, so every child feels safe to have a go.
Unity with harmony
Languages bring people together. Children from every background learn, laugh and celebrate side by side.
Agreeableness with pleasantness
Friendly faces, shared songs and taking turns make every class a happy place to be.
Humility with modesty
Every small step is worth celebrating, and nobody has to be the best. We all keep learning, teachers too.
Patience with perseverance
A new language grows a little every week. We take it one step at a time and keep going, together.
Three languages, one little second home.Children sing, play and chat their way into a new language, in a place where they feel looked after.
What your child gets from every class. They speak the language, not just hear it.

Small groups
Every child speaks, every class.
With 6 children at most, your child gets plenty of turns to talk, not just the confident ones. Quiet children are encouraged gently and join in when they're ready.
Up to 6 children in every class
Native-speaking teachers
They hear the real accent from day one.
Our teachers grew up speaking the language they teach, so children copy natural sounds and pick up the everyday phrases a textbook leaves out.
What children call their teacher
- 老师lǎoshī, Mandarin
- 先生sensei, Japanese
- profePROH-feh, Spanish

Reading and writing
They learn to read and write it, too.
Little Sprouts start with listening, speaking and songs. Big Sprouts add reading and writing in the language's own script, step by step, as their speaking grows.
Hello, in each language
- 你好nǐ hǎo, Mandarin
- こんにちはkonnichiwa, Japanese
- ¡Hola!OH-lah, Spanish

Home languages
A home language stays alive.
If your child hears Mandarin, Japanese or Spanish at home, classes help them answer back in it, and read and write it too. Tell us when you enrol and we'll place them in the right group.
